Typhoon Ulysses
October 2020
When typhoon Ulysses hit the Philippines in October 2020, it destroyed many homes and lives, leaving many people homeless. Many of our colleagues’ homes and belongings were destroyed by the floods, leaving them with terrible damages.
Our UK team raised £1,200 to help cover the cost of damages and to support our colleagues in Metro Manila. We set up a Just Giving page so our partners and clients could join in to support too.
Our Manila Operations team kindly donated items to the evacuation centres in Marikina, where most people had lost their homes.
Kenya Masai Mara Tribe Outreach
August 2020
On this trip, our Director, Matthew Betteridge and friends visited different tribes in the Masai Mara desert where they handed out food supplies, books and pens, toys and other supplies.
Brendoncare Charity Golf Day
June 2020
The Brendoncare charity golf day took place on the 14th of June and it was a huge success, raising £13,500. completejobs were proud sponsors, and our team had a brilliant time playing 18 holes in the rain. We would like to thank Brendoncare for inviting us along to this worthy cause. It was great meeting you all.
Stroke Association Charity Ball
November 2019
In November 2019, completejobs had the pleasure of sponsoring and attending the Two Stroke Stories ball, which raised over £5,000 for The Stroke Association. The ball was in recognition of Howard Wicks, who was just 15 when he suffered a stroke which left him with locked in syndrome. The ball told the two stroke stories of Howard Wicks and Peter Betteridge, and we were proud to attend and support such a worthy cause.
Brendoncare Tough Mudder Challenge
September 2020
A group of consultants from our completejobs team challenged the Brendoncare Foundation team to take part in a Tough Mudder run.
The challenge was brought about to help The Brendoncare Foundation raise money for their continuous support in caring for old-aged people in their organisation.
They raised £3,500 and we couldn’t be more proud. Thank you to all our employees; Alex, Melissa, Sajin, Daniel, Shai, Rishi & Louie, and of course to the wonderful Brendoncare team who stuck by us through this amazing challenge.
Kythe Charity
September 2020
Completejobs Manila team donated to a very special charity based in the Philippines, known as the Kythe Foundation Inc. This organisation helps improve the quality of life among hospitalized children with cancer and other chronic illnesses.
Tough Mudder
August 2015 & 2016
In both 2015 and 2016, completejobs team members took part in Tough Mudder, racing through obstacles and mud to reach the finish line. We put our team’s competitive side, resilience and determination to the test and had a great time taking part.
