Our Extra Care Schemes are a type of purpose-built housing for elderly people containing individual homes (each with its own kitchen, living room and bathroom) but with additional shared facilities on site such as communal lounge areas all under one roof. This scheme will have a team of Care Workers on-site 24 hours a day, to help with personal care in line with each resident's Care Plan.
The role of a Care Worker includes, Providing personal care, support and assistance to clients including washing, bathing and toileting, Prompting and administering medication, Meal preparation
