VISUAL MERCHANDISER

DESCRIPTION

Due to project expansion, an exciting opportunity has arisen for a Visual Merchandiser to work on a fixed term contract basis. The successful candidate will set and deliver visual merchandising solutions for units across the business creating a cohesive blend of commercial analysis and display principles to create an easy, exciting and memorable shopping experience for our customers.

You will;

• Manage production, signoff and publishing of display instructions/planograms to agreed deadlines ensuring grades and model count are applied accurately and have also been agreed with Commercial and Store Layout, Format, Retail Marketing and Supply teams
• Influence changes to range/space to ensure the productivity and profitability of range to space is maximised at product and category level
• Deliver the Commercial process for Space & Visual Merchandising ensuring all milestones are completed to time. Look for new ways to improve and develop the process for greater efficiency
• Establish a positive partnership between Commercial and Space & Visual Merchandising teams to create an effective and efficient range and space development process
• Adhering to the end to end process and timelines of monthly changeover and reaction planograms
• Consistently updating planograms to internal retail communication sites
• Collaborating with the Retail Marketing and Print Management teams to understand and manage upcoming launches and promotional campaigns and timelines
• Delivering detailed Reports to Supply Chain and Retail Marketing reflecting product and fixture changes during Changeover and Reactionary Campaigns
• Work alongside Retail Operations to ensure all display solutions are accurate and can be efficiently implemented
• Regular competitor analysis of promotion, fixtures and display techniques, sharing findings with commercial teams to influence future commercial performance of department
• Support wider Visual Merchandising team workload as required

Do you have?

• Previous experience of Visual Merchandising or working in a store environment
• Retail operational knowledge
• Strong organisational skills to deliver projects within the required timescales
• Ability to solve complex puzzles and deal with ambiguity
• Good Excel, PowerPoint and analytical skills
• Experience working with Visual Merchandising Software (Fifth Dimension, Galleria, JDA, Apollo, Spaceman) or Store Layout Software (Fifth Dimension, AutoCAD) would be desirable but not required
