Here at the AA, we’re proud to make things simple when modern cars and vans are anything but. You’ll be using really high-end technology so you can provide a high level of customer care and service to our members.
You’ll put your excellent diagnostic and customer service skills to the test as you provide our members with the courtesy, care and expertise they’ve come to expect from the AA. Familiar with the electrical, fuel and ignition systems of vehicles as well as multimeters and other garage diagnostic equipment, you will be the friendly face of the UK’s largest motoring organisation.
Your skill in handling technical faults and real understanding of vehicle electronics is matched by a flair for dealing with people, often in difficult circumstances. As a qualified technician or mechanic, it’s likely you’ll have current garage or roadside patrol experience. NVQ3 in vehicle maintenance and repair or equivalent will be essential, as well as a full driving licence covering B or BE categories with less than six points. If you don’t already have the BE category, we’ll fund this as part of your induction. Preferably, you’ll be based in West, South-West or North-West London.
