Vehicle Prepper / Stripper

Duties and responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

Strip and refit parts to commercial and non-commercial vehicles

Realign vehicle body panels

Report additional damage not found on original job sheet

De-mask fresh painted vehicles

Prep and mask up vehicles including alloys when required

Check, flat and polish fresh and non-fresh painted vehicles

Jet wash vehicles after final checks before vehicle leaves the paint shop

Deliver and collect vehicles from other depot when required

Ensure all work is carried out within health and safety laws and guidelines

Undertake any other ad hoc tasks requested by management or other senior staff

Hours of Work: Monday to Friday, hours between 08.00 - 17.00

It is desirable that you possess the following attributes:

Full Driving Licence and own tools

Excellent technical/build skills

Ideally and NVQ, City & Guilds or equivalent qualification, however significant work experience is also acceptable.

Commercial experience will be a benefit but not essential as long as you have a wiliness to learn
