Trade Counter Branch Manager

39 hours per week on a rota basis

Our trade counter, TradePoint, is dedicated to the specific needs of our trade customers, offering them trade brands at trade prices. As a Branch Manager, you'll champion its benefits to both the customer and the wider store team, and help to make it an easy, practical and credible place for our Trade customers to shop - as well as an exciting place for colleagues to work. Leading the TradePoint team and reporting directly to the Store Manager, you'll be responsible for the counter's overall performance. We'll look to you to build long and short term plans to meet sales targets and maximise profits, identifying new opportunities and making sound commercial decisions based on our customers' business needs.

We're looking for a Trade Counter Branch Manager with previous experience of managing a team and successfully achieving sales targets in a customer-facing environment. With a genuine passion for people and a commitment to our shared values of 'Customer', 'Family' and 'Can do', you'll be proactive, open-minded, and a natural leader - confident to take action and considered risks while empowering those around you. It's important that you're flexible about when you can work too, as you'll be covering store opening hours on a rota basis, including evenings, weekends and bank holidays. A valid driving licence is preferred. To really make a mark as a Trade Counter Branch Manager, you'll also need high levels of energy and drive.
