My client, a successful company in the biotechnology industry, is looking for a Team leader of Discovery Chemistry to implement the chemistry researchers. You will collaborate with other members of Discovery Chemistry and Project Groups in order to reach company goals, and report straight to the Director of Discovery Chemistry.

We are looking for you with a degree in organic chemistry OR medicinal chemistry, experience in drug discovery in an industry setting, a track record of medicinal chemistry contributions to help advance programs. You also have solid knowledge in state-of-the-art organic synthetic chemistry, strong understanding of the drug discovery process and are fluent in English.

For this opportunity you will be managing effectively a team of medicinal chemists, maintaining productivity and showing ability to address synthetic challenges in the laboratory and following chemistry literature to identify, propose and implement innovative chemistry reactions to allow the preparation of novel molecules.
