They have vacancies in their Bristol & Bath Service, based at Knowle, Bristol; this is a supported living unit providing support to 8 tenants in their own flats allowing them to lead independent lives.
Position: Supported Living Worker
Location: Bristol
Hours Full & Part-time hours available - 25-37.5 hours per week
Salary: £7.20 - £7.54 per hour aged 21 and over, and £7.09 - £7.54 per hour between the ages of 18-20 (dependant on successful completion of probation and Health and Social Care Diploma/NVQ Level 2)

About the Role:
As a Support Worker / Care Worker for Hft, you will enable the people they support to lead fulfilling lives based upon their personal support needs.
About You:
No previous experience is required for this role, what is more important is that you have a passion and desire to be part of the social care world, and are enthusiastic about supporting people.
An awareness or knowledge of dementia and learning disabilities would be great, however if you have a caring nature, like being around people and can tackle issues with a positive frame of mind, then you are highly encouraged to apply today.
As they provide 24/7 support you need to be able to work shifts, including weekends, some nights and Bank Holidays. You will also be required to accompany the people they support on holidays and attend training courses and other activities.
They'll give you full training, including an induction when you start and training that's focused on the people you are supporting. Hft has achieved IIP Gold status, and you'll have the chance to develop your career in Health & Social Care. Mileage is paid where appropriate, you will be entitled to 20 days annual leave (rising to 25 days after the first year) and there is a contributory pension scheme.
