SQL Database Administrator DBA (Database Administrator SQL Server NoSQL DBA DevOps Continuous DBMaestro RedGate Integration Automated Deployment Configuration Management Finance Banking) required by my banking client in London.

You MUST have the following experience:

• SQL Server Database Administrator (DBA) experience with SQL Server including clustering and performance tuning
• SQL data base administration in an Agile environment, working with in-house .NET development teams for script deployment and providing developers with guidance on best practices
• DevOps Practices - Continuous Integration, Automated Deployment or Configuration Management of SQL databases using any of the following: Redgate, udaSQL, DBMaestro TeamWork, NewRelic, PowerShell, TeamCity, TFS, DSC, Puppet, Chef, Ansible, Octopus, MS Build, CFEngine, Distelli, Travis, Bamboo,

The following would be DESIRABLE, not essential:

• NoSQL- eg MongoDB, RavenDB, Cassandra
• Agile

Role: SQL Database Administrator required for a small bank in London. You will join a growing IT department of 75 as one of two SQL Server DBA's. You will work closely with the .NET developers, in an Agile DevOps setup, to create and administer the complex SQL environment behind their in-house built web applications. You will be heavily involved, if not lead, the department's move towards Continuous Integration, Configuration Management and Automated Deployment for their SQL database environment. This DevOps environment exists already for their Windows Server and IIS applications. Current tools include Puppet, Octopus, PowerShell DSC, Red gate, TeamCity and MS Build.

Projects in the next 12 months will also include migrating BizTalk to a clustered SQL 2014 solution; redesigning the main OLB solution; 2016 upgrade; and the expansion of their NoSQL environment which has begun on MongoDB.

Salary: £60k - £75k + 20% Bonus + Pension
