Shipping Administrator

We are currently recruiting for Shipping Administrators for a well know Logistics Company based in Hayes in Middlesex. You will be working as part of the dynamic team that undertakes a range of activities to support the overall Life Science operation team.

As a Shipping Administrator you will need to have:

• Two or more years experience within the Freight Forwarding Industry.
• Knowledge of Freight Forwarding industry: Imports/Exports and related processes
• Experience of HMRC procedures
• Commercial awareness.
• Clear and concise communication skills (written and spoken)
• Ability to follow processes

Details:

• Salary: £15 per hour.
• Working Hours: Any 5 days of 6 various shifts
• Location: Hayes
• Immediate Starts.
• Overtime after 37.5 hours

Role of a Shipping Administrator

• Adhere to Customs Compliance procedures and documentation
• Complete retrospective Customs compliance actions
• Customs entry for Specialist License movements
• Liaise directly with overseas offices on shipment planning and coordination
• Maintain and update DfT compliance
• Customs entry for Specialist License movements
