Full time street fundraising at various locations in your local area. Working directly for Shelter.

Hours: 9am-6pm
Pay: £8-£13/hr DOE - guaranteed hourly rate

Working in teams, you will work on local High Streets. By approaching members of the public and engaging them in a conversation, you will aim to inspire them into making a regular ongoing donation to Shelter.
 
We are looking for energetic outgoing individual who love the outdoors, brush off rejection easily, are not afraid of a bit of hard work and feel passionately about the current state of housing in the UK.
 
The UK is the 4th wealthiest economy in the world - everyone in the UK should have a place they can call home. Yet, approximately 109 thousand under 16 year olds are currently homeless and this figure is rising by approximately 30 every single day. Shocking stuff and certainly not something that should be going on in the UK. However, it's not all doom and gloom, Shelter helped over 47 thousand under 16s into permanent accommodation last year alone.

Clearly there is still a lot to do. To be able to reach more people in desperate need of their help, Shelter are in need of funding and this is where you come in.
