NEW SERVICE ENGINEER JOB AVAILABLE IN NORTHUMBERLAND

Due to continued growth, my client is seeking an experienced Service Engineer to join their team in a creative and demanding environment, to progress products through development, prototyping, testing and certification. 
As a Service Engineer you will require skills to complement the existing team whose tasks range from building prototypes, fault finding, testing elements and the full product, through to concern resolution and customer support.
The Service Engineer job will be based in Northumberland and will undertake fault finding and concern investigation on products that involve mechanical, electrical and electronic systems. This role involves the development of products through actual prototype building, test rig building and subsequent monitoring of performance. The successful candidate will also provide technical support and customer training on prototype and first series production products. The Service Engineer is also responsible for remedial works on product as required, supporting condition monitoring and preventative maintenance activities and the maintenance of the product database for activities and interventions.

The successful candidate will possess the following competencies and skills:
> Electrical engineering degree or equivalent would be an advantage
> Practical aptitude to completing tasks and technical experience in a wide range of industrial and commercial environments
> Experience in fault finding
> Full driving licence and willingness to travel
