Transition & Transformation Senior Program Manager The Transition & Transformation Senior Program Manager has the overall accountability of the “execution and performance” of the Transition/Transformation projects, achieving the client/IBM objectives (benefits), meeting the contractual obligations and delivery of the programme to client satisfaction, schedule, cost, quality, compliance.
Transition & Transformation Program Managers
Transition and Transformation Program Managers are responsible for leading either the Transition or Transformation component of an overall T&T programme reporting to the Transition & Transformation Senior Program Manager. The Transition and Transformation Program Manager is accountable for the delivery of their respective program component to client satisfaction, schedule, cost, quality, compliance.
The T&T Senior Program Managers are deployed from the outsourcing engagement phase to define and develop the client T&T programme solution, budget and schedule.
It is highly recommended that the Transition & Transformation Senior Program Manager is involved during the definition of the Transformation solution, budgeting and scheduling under Engagement responsibility.
All roles are fully mobile within the UK and at times globally. The individual will be expected to travel up to 5 days per week to Client or IBM sites and ideal candidates should be members of the PM profession with IBM or external certification.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Lead Transition & Transformation Proposal & Engagement Solution Definition
- Lead and Execute Transition/Transformation projects
Proposal & Engagement Solution Definition
- Consultant to Lead TSM for Transition/Transformation.
- Define, planning, cost the Transition and Transformation programme integrating competency and component level solutions.
- Develop and deliver Client Presentation, Contract Schedules and Proposal Materials
- Promote good practice within Engagement team
- Transition/Transformation Architecture
- Lessons learned
Lead & Execute Transition & Transformation Programme Delivery
- Define scope, deliverables & objectives
- Produce high level transition and transformation plans
- Manage & Control T&T Client / IBM Governance, Satisfaction and Relationships
- Manage Change, Issues & Risks and Dependencies
- Manage Transition/Transformation Schedule, Cost & Compliance
- Adhere to IBM Global T&T standards and execution/control
- Manage a large team of 30+ Project/Technical resources.
?Required Technical and Professional Expertise
The role is usually filled by an experienced IT PM professional who will have successfully managed commercial projects of significant size/scale/complexity within a services organisation and is preferably a senior certified PM. Certification in ITIL, PMI/PMP and Prince 2
