But to help us to achieve this, we will need to significantly grow our high-value fundraising income. We are now in the preparation phase for our most ambitious fundraising campaign ever and at the heart of its success will be engaging support from some of the world’s most generous philanthropists and partners. About the role

The Senior Stewardship Manager will play a key part in ensuring our most generous prospects, donors & partners have the best possible experience with CRUK. We want them to feel excited about what we can offer, thanked and recognised for their generosity, aligned behind our vision and proud of their own contribution to beating cancer.

Make an impact every day by:

• Developing a supporter experience strategy based on insights and behaviours to maximise loyalty and engagement
• Overseeing the delivery of a wide range of communications for our supporters & partners to help inspire and engage them.
• Leading a team that runs our stewardship and recognition programme, ensuring they are coached and motivated to achieve success.  

About you

No two days will be the same in this varied role so you’ll need to be highly organised and agile to meet key priorities. Your confident communication and relationship building skills will be key to negotiate with and influence a wide range of people, both internally and externally. Donor-led decision making skills will demonstrate your commitment to a high-quality of service, delivery and customer care.

To take on this exciting challenge, you’ll have:

• In-depth understanding of the principles of high value fundraising and stewardship
• Strong communications experience, with an in-depth understanding of marketing principles and practices within a high value environment
• Proven leadership and team management skills and demonstrable track record in developing a team and leading others, either directly or within a matrix environment
• Outstanding track record of managing complex projects and senior stakeholders
