We are looking for a Senior Social Media Executive to…

• Manage, moderate, and participate in social media communities such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and YouTube
• Work with internal teams to develop Cancer Research UK’s use of branded social media presences to contribute to the aims and objectives of the charity in line with fundraising and science priorities
• Use social media monitoring tools to track activity and influence future campaigns

Cancer Research UK is leading pioneering, life-saving research and our long-term ambition is to bring forward the day when all cancers are cured. Our social media team at Cancer Research UK takes the lead in developing exciting and innovative social media campaigns to engage supporters in its work to beat cancer sooner – from fundraising events such as Dryathlon and Stand Up To Cancer to health awareness campaigns.

Now we need an enthusiastic and motivated Senior Social Media Executive to apply their creativity, passion, and knowledge of social media to help us keep the charity at the forefront of the sector.

• Significant experience in of working in a communications environment (social media, PR or journalism)
• Experience of B2C social media community management
• A good knowledge of how social media plays a part in the overall goals of a large organisation
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
