Senior Sales Executive

Salary £30K-£35K (£80K OTE)

We are a small company that is going from strength to strength, doubling year on year. We have a rewarding and hard working culture. We are looking for a friendly bubbly Senior Sales Executive to become part of the Local Honey Man family.

We also breed, raise & sell Honey Bees to help reverse the decline of natures wonder the Honeybee.

In the role of Senior Sales Executive, you will be responsible for the growth of The Local Honey Man within the UK market.

You will be a key part of the sales team, wholly responsible for achieving targets and bringing on new accounts.

You will continuously look for new business opportunities, building a sustainable pipeline of prospects and opportunities, and have the ability to close opportunities to achieve targets.

The successful candidate will bring creativity and innovation to the sales cycle, alongside being target driven and having a laser focus on closing prospects.

Accountabilities and Responsibilities:

* Opening new businesses (large corporations and SME)

* Ability to achieve annual sales revenue

* Identify potential clients, and the decision makers within the client organisation

* Cold call decision makers within your market to build pipelines

* Meet potential clients by growing, maintaining, and leveraging your network

* Build key customer relationships and identify business opportunities

* Plan approaches and pitches, and develop proposals that meets client's needs and objectives

* Participate in pricing the service

* Use a variety of styles to negotiate appropriately

* Maintain extensive knowledge of current market conditions

* Present an image that mirrors that of Local Honey Man

Essential Skills

* Natural sales talent and relationship builder

* Will need to prospect, develop and grow a book of business

* Brings several years of FMCG sales experience
 

* Hunter of new business; creative and innovative in approach

* Strong pipeline management

* Can provide clients with pricing data for negotiation .

* Strong commercial awareness and the ability to source and develop opportunities

* Great networker, strong interpersonal skills and a good communicator

* Ability to work with other key areas of the business, such as marketing, to ensure lead generation

* Highly motivated and self-managed individual

* Flair and aptitude to manage own business, revenue and ride volume, using resources of the business

Knowledge & Experience

* Has extensive knowledge of London's specialty/health food market, extensive knowledge in selling to both independents and corporate retailers

* Highly networked individual in the food or FMCG industry

* Understands sales processes inside out

* Can demonstrate track record of selling to the FMCG or Food and drink industry

Reward Package

* Annual salary of £30k to £35k depending on experience, OTE £70 -£80K

* Uncapped commission structure paying between 10-25%

* Mobile and Laptop provided

* There is a lot of room for progression in this role as we are a small company experiencing rapid growth
