About the Job:
A very established and growing law firm are looking to recruit a Senior Residential Conveyancer to oversee and carry out all aspects of residential conveyancing including freehold and leasehold work, sales, purchases, remortgages, transfers of equity, right to buy, shared ownership and new plot purchases. You will also develop business opportunities within the conveyancing department and build a strong team.Key Responsibilities:-
* Undertake residential conveyancing work on behalf of clients of the firm
* Supervising and managing other Fee Earners within the Firm and other staff as necessary
* Dealing with clients, intermediaries and HM Land Registry etc. both in person and over the telephone
* File management
* Ensure budgets are met
* Pro-active marketing of self and firm
Skills and Experience:-
* Experience of working in Residential Conveyancing
* A sound knowledge of conveyancing procedures, CQS Protocol and Anti Money Laundering legislation.
* Sound interpersonal and supervisory skills
* Good organisation and administration skills
* Knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Case Management Systems an advantage
Salary: £30,000 - £40,000 depending on experience
