Senior Manager Treasury
Location: Uxbridge or Luxemburg
 
Within the Treasury team we are looking for a Senior Manager Treasury. In this exiting role you will develop and implement foreign exchange, interest rate and commodity strategies based on the current capital market environment to manage the Company’s financial risk exposures.  Further responsibilities include managing the Company’s short-term funding and investing programs, project management, net investment hedging strategies, and representing Treasury with respect to various Company initiatives.
 
The Treasury department is a center of excellence within the Company that leverages best practices to deliver value every day by effectively managing cash, mitigating financial risk, ensuring liquidity and optimizing the capital structure.  The team works collaboratively with its internal and external business partners to deliver on its objectives.
 
The role
  • Foreign Currency, Commodity and Financial Risk Management: Analyze economic and financial data to determine potential impacts on currency and commodity markets.  Identify the Company’s over $8 billion of foreign currency transaction exposures and develop/evaluate risk management strategies working with the operating units, tax, accounting, legal and other members of senior management.
  • Interest Rate Risk Management: Monitor and analyze economic and market information to determine potential impacts of interest rate variability on the Company’s short-term and long-term borrowing/investment rates.
  • Manage internal and external relationships for area of responsibility; ensuring that customers and suppliers receive timely and accurate data, decision support, and advice in relation to products and services.
  • Serve as a Treasury consultant, subject matter expert, internally within the Company.
  • Communicate technical Treasury information and concepts to non-technical business partners, both internal and external to the Company.
  • Benchmark best practices with other Treasury groups as well as other groups within the Company.
  • Analyze, recommend, and project manage the introduction of new bank services providing the leadership and analytical support until project completion.
  • Accountable for negotiating commercial terms and coordinating the legal and business unit review of contracts.
  • Develop, measure, and manage Treasury activity reporting with accuracy and appropriate level of detail depending on audience.
 

 

Qualifications
 To be successful in this role you need:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Economics - Finance Concentration Preferred. MBA Preferred.
  • Around 5 years of work experience in treasury required.
  • Deep understanding of capital markets is preferred.
  • Ability to work as a team player, be self motivated, and to manage and prioritize multiple deadlines and deliverables.
  • Ability to direct, lead, and manage people on projects and initiatives including with individuals that are and are not direct reports.
  • Strong ability to analyze capital markets.
  • Ability to liaise with key internal Corporate stakeholders, including the leadership of the Tax, Accounting, Procurement and Legal Departments, and communicate the needs of the Treasury Group.
  • Effective written and oral communication for presentation and summary to senior leadership.
  • Proficient use of computer software packages (especially Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SAP and Treasury Management Systems);
