Job description:

We are looking for a Senior Business Partner & Portfolio Manager to join the team, who will engage with the respective Business Units/Companies to manage demand through the identification and prioritisation of projects. From this, you will drive the high quality delivery of the approved IT Project Portfolio utilising best in class methods and tools, to ensure the end to end project lifecycle is supported with the required resources and skills.

 

To keep everything on track, you will ensure stakeholder engagement and communication is of the highest quality. You will prepare and present portfolio level summaries at the brand/company level project steering committees, updating financial/budget spreadsheets for review with the financial controllers when required.

 

You will also manage the full relationship with your business stakeholders, which will require you to work with all functions within ITM to maximise the relationship and service experience – including supporting IT Services initiatives. Keeping abreast of market/industry developments will be key, so that you can identify how these developments can be introduced in order to support the achievement of company objectives.

 

You will implement resource management disciplines, processes and practices resulting in an optimised resource pool which consists of internal and external resources, based on the accurately planned requirement to support the delivery of the Project Portfolio. 

 

To be successful in this role, you will be: 

 

  • Educated to Degree level or higher, or equivalent.

  • PRINCE2 / Project Management Professional certification or equivalent.

  • Managing Successful Programmes Practitioner qualification or equivalent.

  • Demonstrable team Management and Leadership skills.

  • Significant Experience of Automotive Wholesale Business.

  • Proven track record in delivering multiple, concurrent international and local projects.

  • Process oriented, with a strong orientation towards organisation and discipline.

  • Ability to manage complex interdependencies.

  • Capable at negotiation, including conflict management and ability to align agendas.

  • Numerate with ability to manage large, complex budgets and financial principles.

  • Clear communicator with the ability to translate technical terms into Business orientated updates.

  • Qualified in the application of industry standard techniques as defined by relevant professional body, such as Agile.
