Senior Biomedical Scientist, Microbiology, York, Permanent, £DOE

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Senior Biomedical Scientist in Microbiology to join a global Contract Research Organisation in York. The organisation supports European Clinical trials and this department is set up to provide Microbiology services including; urine microscopy, culture and sensitivity, stool culture, water sterility etc. Due to the contract nature of the organisation, new analyses are being introduced and validated routinely therefore the role will include responsibility for setting up these new analyses.

This role will be suited to someone who has experience of Microbiology within a clinical setting and the successful candidate will be HCPC registered.

In addition to this fantastic opportunity within an exciting, growing company, there may also be the opportunity to take on Deputy Lab Manager Responsibilities however this will be judged on Seniority and experience within a similar role.
