As we grow, we have a fantastic new opportunity available for an experienced secretary to assist our administration team and Partners. The successful candidate will have at least two years’ administration experience, and possess strong time management and organisational skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the diary arrangements for the Partners
  • Answering telephone calls
  • Audio typing
  • Photocopying
  • Carry out general office administration duties
  • Support the administration team as and when required

Key Person Requirements

  • Good audio typing skills
  • Previous administration experience
  • Preferably experience of working in a solicitors practice
  • Possess excellent time management skills
  • Be able to organise workload efficiently
  • Be IT literate and familiar with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Possess a self-motivated and enthusiastic attitude
  • Be reliable and carry out tasks to a high standard
  • Be able to manage an often changing set of priorities

The role will primarily involve supporting the Head of our Private Client department. Desired (but not essential) experience, in addition that listed above, will therefore include:

  • Familiarity with solicitors’ practice management systems
  • Experience of managing and storing wills and deeds
  • Familiarity with lasting powers of attorneys
  • Familiarity with the Land Registry
