Sales Analysis Manager

THE ROLE:

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Sales Analysis Manager within the Supply Chain Department at Head Office. The successful candidate will effectively manage and maintain the forecast in SAP for business efficiency and profit predictions by interpreting retail events and conditions to apply the correct pro active and retrospective demand influence factors.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Analyse sales forecast through SAP business warehouse reports, proactively finding ways to improve forecast accuracy.
• To achieve the required sales demand performance through detailed SLA replenishment analysis, constantly challenging and seeking ways to optimise forecast accuracy from vendor to DC to store.
• To apply seasonal and promotion demand influencing factors based on category specific events to achieve maximum sales potential; by monitoring, prediction and evaluation of regional events and through promotion insight and a working knowledge of ‘Halo’ and ‘cannibalisation’ effects.                
• Maximises retail sales potential through identifying forecast time series trends based on early indicators, short/long term forecast planning allowing business visibility against future sales demand.   
• Forms part of multiple CMT’s working predominantly within a specific category, with a requirement and having the ability to migrate across categories when needed to support and spread best practice.

•  Collaborates with the supply chain managers, sharing supplier account insight in order to ensure forecasting is accurate and all potential sales opportunities are targeted and maximised.                            
• Responsible for ensuring the forecast workbenches are cleared on a daily basis in order for the smooth execution of the replenishment process.
• Collaborates with the tactical planner to review and evaluate forecast and re forecast in order to facilitate the smooth operation of the demand and replenishment process.                 
• To fulfil health and safety obligations by ensuring safe working practices are being followed at all times.
• To perform any other reasonable duties as required

• Supporting a team through times of change, including the introduction and development of new systems.

• Working within and supporting a team where there are large changes in workload due to seasonal fluctuations and re active workload.
• Prioritising workload in a fast paced and re active environment

THE PERSON

• Knowledge skill and understanding in the use of SAP ECC6, SAP F&R and warehouse managing systems                                                                      
• Significant previous experience in a retail supply chain management role.         
• Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to interpret and manipulate large quantities of data.
• Excellent planning and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple work streams with conflicting priorities.
• Results driven with a proven track record in delivering against demanding targets.                                                                         
• Exceptional communication skills both written and verbal with the ability to influence at a high level.
• Requirement to work flexible and unsocial hours.
• Requirement to travel to stores.
