About the Job:
We are looking to recruit a number of high quality Post-Doc Researchers to join our Research Division team located at the Daresbury Laboratory of the Science & Technology Facilities Council in Cheshire, England.The roles offer opportunities to work with leading Research Scientists in IBM, STFC, Universities, Research Institutes, and Universities.
Central to the research programme at Daresbury is research and exploitation of new software and hardware architectures for handling large volumes of data. Research in a range of domains including: engineering, life sciences, and high performance computing is in the scope of the programme.
We are looking for ambitious, high-quality, Post-Docs who wish to work for one of the world's leading Industrial Research organisations to advance both the state-of-the-art in science & engineering and their own careers. The roles are challenging and a great career opportunity to work in a new and growing IBM Research team in the UK. The role is based in Daresbury UK.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
- PhD/DPhil in Computer Science, Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics, Biochemistry, Bioinformatics or similar disciplines
- Experience with High Performing computer systems.
