We are currently looking for a Report Developer. Have you worked closely with business change teams, taking responsibility for delivering new reporting and information views? Have you managed the creation and change to data definitions within a MI environment? Have you previously managed multiple stakeholders within a busy, client-facing environment? Do you have excellent data manipulation, communication and attention to detail skills? If so, you could be the person we're looking for!

The key responsibilities will include:
 

• Responsible for end to end delivery of reporting solutions including documenting business requirements, scoping, report development and delivery by adopting a clear systematic and appropriate project management approach (with support from management)
• Lead project communications, including weekly meetings with project teams (for longer term projects), project tracking and documentation
• Liaison with Data and Infrastructure and other colleagues to understand data definitions and availability.
• Production of outputs(reports, dashboards or cubes) to agreed quality standards and timescales, including reconciling to known data sources
• Socialising outputs with stakeholders and evaluation of benefits

• Experience of delivering project-based analysis in a Customer Intelligence/ Analytics in a high performance team
• Experience in using Business Objects Web Intelligence (Infoview), Tableau, Qlikview or similar Business Intelligence tools, to create reports and/or changes to existing reports.
• Proficient hands on SQL (SPSS or SAS desirable), experience in working across various large scale data platforms (Oracle, Sybase, Netezza, etc.) and ability to work with undocumented/ unstructured data.
• Expert user of Excel to create pivot tables, charts, lookups etc. VBA experience would be an advantage.
• Expert in report development techniques and tools to create innovative and highly usable business reports to enable easy and clear metric tracking and decision making
• The ability to communicate and present both orally and in writing, to appropriate senior client and internal stakeholders and comfortable without ambiguity or uncertainty
• Good understanding of different report and dashboard data visualisation techniques to aid metric management and business decision making
