Reports to: Recruitment Manager

Job purpose

The Recruitment Administrator/Resourcer is responsible for supporting the recruitment team to ensure we deliver a smooth, planned and organised recruitment service to our clients while giving additional recruitment support where needed to ensure that all elements of the recruitment service are met to agreed standards.

Main responsibilities/accountabilities

General administration: 50% of role

  • To provide all recruitment administrative functions including issuing all interview, starter packs and contracts.
  • To manage Recruitment inbox in a timely manner ensuring prioritisation.
  • To provide reports for manager when required in a clear and concise format.
  • Ensuring candidates set up on both ConTact (Cosine database) any amendments to details are actioned within agreed timelines.
  • Participate in reviewing and ensuring that all working processes are documented with guidelines, and that these are complete and in line with Cosine operational guidelines. Review and keep relevant.
  • To liaise with Implementation to ensure they have accurate starter information and that a process is in place for Implementation to notify you of leaver information.

Compliance checking: 20% of role

  • Receive successful candidate form and supporting documents such as, right to work and check all documents meet requirements

Candidate generation: 20% of role

  • To receive recruitment brief [full activity or churn vacancy] and establish best source of candidates
  • To search database using search criteria and review results
  • To place on-line ads using unique reference and Cosine Careers email address and review results

Screening and preparing for interview: 10% of role

  • Use criteria to carry out first sift of candidates applications
  • Phone candidates and telephone screen using screening sheet
  • Identify those candidates to put through for interview
  • Provide BM/ASM/RM with candidate details and interview packs

And any other duties as required which are reasonably within the scope of the role

Special features

The nature of Cosine as a small and dynamic company means that employees need to operate with flexibility in their role, and work as part of a team.

The requirements of the role, liaising with candidates who may not be contactable during the normal working day, may require a flexible approach to working hours. This may involve working some shifts, some Saturdays and some weekday evenings. This will be within the standard number of working hours.

It is important that the jobholder recognises, and is openly supportive of Cosine’s guiding principles. This applies to business and social events, understanding the importance of professional behavior and conduct at all times.

Experience

  • previous experience in a recruitment role desired but not essential
  • previous experience in Field Marketing or related business desired but not essential

Technical skills / knowledge

  • fully proficient in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and the internet.

Part Time (17.5 hrs pw)
Monday to Friday - 9am to 12.30pm
Salary £12,000pa
