The Rapid Response Care Workers work shifts of either 7am-3pm or 3pm-11pm on a rota basis plus alternate weekends. You will be responsible for providing Care for people who have been discharged from hospital.

Duties may also include:

* Giving on-going support to new and existing staff
* Participating in the induction and shadowing of all new staff
* Being responsible for the required administrational duties of recording, transmission and storage of confidential information
* Ensuring the care team understands the importance of their actions
* Ensuring workers have a supply of protective clothing
* Participating in emergency cover when required
* Monitoring high standards of work performance in service users homes
* Reporting to line manager the progress of individuals, incidents and general observations daily where necessary and at team meetings

The successful Rapid Response Care Worker will have:

* NVQ / QCF Level 2 or 3 training
* Certificates in Health and Safety, First Aid, Food Hygiene or Moving and Handling
* **Previous experience in care** 
* A full driving licence, valid to drive in the UK with access to your own transport

This role would suit a Senior Care Assistant, Domiciliary Care Assistant or Carer.
