My client design and manufacture a range of complex electronic instrumentation devices.

Due to expansion they currently require a Test & Validation Engineer - Optics.

Job Purpose of the Test & Validation Engineer - Optics:

The role will involve working in parallel with the design team to verify product performance against target customer specifications including optical, electrical and system parameters. This will include building of appropriate R&D test equipment and measurement automation.

Key Responsibilities for the Test & Validation Engineer - Optics will include:

- Work closely with members of the design/test team.
- Take project from cradle to grave.
- Deliver cost effective product solutions in a timely manner.
- This will include building of appropriate R&D test equipment and measurement automation.

Skills and Competencies for the Test & Validation Engineer - Optics:
- Honours degree or equivalent in physics, optics, electronics or equivalent technical discipline.
- Experience in Validating test processes and prototype designs.
- Strong experience in Hardware design/Opto Electronics
