About the Job:
I have just picked up a couple of new opportunities this morning from my client in Manchester. We're looking for 2 Quantity Surveyors with at least 4/5 years experience of civil engineering contracting who can work on schemes from a few hundred thousand £ up to £15m.
My client tends to work as a subcontractor providing earthworks, Groundworks and reinforced concrete (not hi rise) packages.
This is a large, family owned contracting business with a good name and long traditions. In this role you will have the opportunity to work in a friendly and supportive environment for a company where your efforts will truly make a difference.
Ideally you will come from a Civil Engineering contracting background and have experience of the commercial management of earthworks, groundworks, concrete works. You could have a degree/vocational qualification but more important is relevant experience- NEC contract knowledge is also very useful although it can be learned 'on the job'.
This role attracts a good level salary and package and there is room for negotiation to attract the best possible candidates.
