We currently have a super opportunity for an experienced quality Inspector to join a leading Aerospace engineering solutions business near High Wycombe
Role:-
As the company Quality Inspector you will be expected to work as part of a small dedicated team, reporting directly to our Quality Manager.
You will be carrying out the day to day inspection duties on our busy shop floor including; First off dimensional checks, Final Inspection checks and completion of FAIR’s.
This role is key to ensuring that all our products are thoroughly inspected and conform to engineering drawings, and have been manufactured in accordance with approved design data.
Responsibilities: -
Carry out day to day inspection duties on our busy production shop-floor under ISO 9001-2008 / EASA Part 21-G quality systems.
Carry out inspection of various plastic / engineering components or assemblies.
Carry out first off, in process and final inspection dimensional checks.
Completion of FAIR’s.
Inspection of incoming components and materials as part of our Good’s inwards process.
Candidate requirements: -
You will have previous experience and hold certification for inspection duties under an ISO 9001-2008 quality system.
Be able to read and interpret engineering drawings.
Be able to carry out dimensional checks using various types of “hand” measuring equipment.
Previous experience of CMM measuring equipment would be beneficial, but on the job training can be given if required.
Be able to produce FAIR’s and certification packs to support customer requirements / deliveries
You will be confident at decision making, and have the ability to use a common sense approach in regards to product requirements.
Candidate is to be pro-active, self-motivated with good timekeeping and able to work as part of a team within a small inspection department.
Have a willingness to progress and evolve as the needs of the business dictates.
Previous inspection experience working under EASA Part 21 Subpart G would be beneficial, but on the job training can be given if required.
