About the Job:
Roc Search's client based in Bristol is seeking an experienced Quality Manager to join an existing team on a 6 month contract. You will have a proven background in Quality Management and Continuous Improvement methodologies ideally gained within the Aerospace and Defence sectors. Responsibilities -
* Provide a strong lead across the Company on the management of project and product quality.
* Identify, plan and implement changes to the Company's quality management systems, through key performance indicators, lessons learnt, quality systems review and defining a programme of continuous improvement.
* Provide training and support to Company engineering staff and drive through the development of a Company culture that recognises the importance of product quality and a customer focused service.
* Ensuring that through its approach to work, the Company is fulfilling its quality objectives, with special regard for safety and airworthiness requirements, legislation and industry best practice.
Key Skills
* Highly experienced in ISO9001/EN9100 Quality Management Systems.
* Aerospace/Defence Industry-specific knowledge.
* Familiarity with electronic and mechanical systems and components and with software development methodologies.
* Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications: Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook, etc.
