The Quality Safety & Patient Experience Directorate of the Welsh Ambulance Services NHS Trust has a new and exciting opportunity for a clinician who is passionate and driven to improving the quality and experience of patients and service users who access our services on an All Wales basis.
The successful candidate will have strategic and operational responsibility for Infection Prevention and Control (IP&C) across the organisation and will lead on and support quality improvement activities, in addition to providing and supporting the education and training needs of our staff with regards to all areas of IP&C.
The base for this post is to be confirmed.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post.

Shortlisted candidates will be required to attend a Stakeholder event on 4 October and will be required to give a 10 minute presentation on the following topic:-
- The Welsh Ambulance Services NHS Trust has an Infection Prevention and Control Code of Practice. If you are successful in this role, how would you ensure that this is fully implemented into clinical practice by our operational teams?
- This will then be followed by a 20 minute Stakeholder discussion.
