QESH Coordinator

What you become a part of
This is a key role in our QESH team (Quality, Environment, Safety & Health), at the Morpeth manufacturing site which supports the team in delivering across the QESH agenda and contributing to the success of our site.
 
What to expect
The role uses management systems to drive standards and performances at the site and acts as an enabling tool to gain compliance to our internal gold plan compliance and ultimately external accreditation.  Understanding of these CCE systems will be advantageous.
The role will encompass aspects of contractor management, auditing of our operation and reporting to the management team on findings. Our safety culture  is a fundamental aspect of the site make up  and the role will play a strong contributing factor in developing this through review processes and developing personal behaviours to differentiate the site from ‘the norm’ .
Your role;
•             To ensure compliance with Health and Safety and Environmental legislation and standards
•             To support the site team in all aspects of H&S and Environmental management
•             To ensure risk assessments, investigations and reports are completed in a timely manner
•             To act as deputy for the QESH manager
 

 

Qualifications

•             Good IT skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
•             Good communication skills, written and verbal
•             Organization, planning and time-management skills
 
Qualifications and experience:
•             Health and Safety Qualification (NEBOSH Certificate or equivalent)
•             Environmental Qualification
•             Working within a factory environment, ideally food related
•             Reporting incidents (H&S and environmental)  and accidents
•             Carrying out effective investigations and root cause analysis
•             Completion of risk assessments and site inspections
•             Contractor management
•             Waste and recycling management
•             Compiling reports and presentations
•             Familiarity with management systems (e.g ISO)
