Project Manager (Construction)

First People Solutions have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Project Manager to work with an industry leading main contractor on a £35m school project in the Dumfries area. 

Please note the client mainly operates in the Glasgow and Ayrshire area so after this projects complete will be working locally. £300 a month living allowance and digs are provided.

As a Project Manager your duties will:

• Ensure that the project is delivered to the conditions, requirements, deliverable's and liabilities of the works as defines and awarded by the client.
• Ensure that the project is procured, installed and commissioned in line with the project quality plan
• Ensure that the project risks are considered, reported, controlled, mitigated and ensures that risks, including those affecting health and safety are eliminated through careful planning where practicable.
• Assess and organise the resources as necessary to execute the project in a safe, efficient and profitable manner.
• Communicate to subordinates all necessary information including contract conditions specifications, drawings, work instructions and clients engineering services policies and procedures for the execution of the project

• Ideally looking for candidates who have delivered similar valued projects before.
