Project Engineer

We are currently looking to recruit a
Project Engineer in our Newbridge Manufacturing Plant.Newbridge, established over 30 years ago, is a strategic Oral Care site supplying toothbrushes to global markets. The site also prides itself on two unique and competitive P&G manufacturing processes i.e. Floss extrusion & coating and Ethanol cartridge filling for the Braun electric shaver range.
The Role:
This role is responsible for the full range of projects in a highly competitive environment, from new product initiatives to capacity projects including productivity and cost improvements.
The main duties and responsibilities of the role will include:

Expertly manage and prioritise the technical aspects and the operational/business aspects of all of your projects.

Responsibility for driving the complete technical aspects of the projects from study requests onwards.

You will be responsible for aligning, scheduling and funding while influencing and optimising costs through detailed analysis and calculations.

You will also develop, optimise and implement production concepts including material flow, automation, facility layout and new technologies.

For each project, you will work effectively across all functions to deliver the best options to deliver consumer value.
The Person
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications, skills, knowledge and attributes:

Level 8 Degree in Engineering Discipline.

Extensive Manufacturing Engineering Experience.

Excellent Engineering and Problem Solving Skills.

Demonstrated capacity in developing technology projects upon success criteria based on strong analytical skills and scientific approach to problem solving.

Strong Leadership and Communication skills.

Highly effective influencer.

Ability to collaborate with multifunctional teams.

Strong organisational skills.
