About the Job:
Our client is a market-leading manufacturer of balloons and party goods that are sold throughout Europe. They are currently recruiting for a Production / Site Engineering Manager to join their existing team. 

In this role, you will be providing cover to our printing operation and overseeing all site maintenance mainly controlled by managing outside contractors. You will also be required to work closely with the Print Manager, providing input for continuous improvements in both machine and process efficiency.

You must be a multi-skilled Engineer, able to provide, Electrical and Mechanical support to our printing operation. It will be essential to have a broad engineering knowledge biased towards Electrical machine control. It will be beneficial for the candidate to posses the following skills, however training will be given if required.

- Pneumatics control
- Machine control, to include PLC and conventional Contact / Relay configurations.
- Fixed electrical installation.
- Fault finding.

Having a hands-on approach, the individual must be enthusiastic with the ability to think through problems and work within and lead a team to help provide solutions. Exposure to and an understanding of continuous improvement methodologies will be advantageous.

Core hours of work are Monday – Friday 8.30am until 5.00pm, however, flexibility in working hours is essential.
