My client is a small engineering manufacturing organisation supplying products to customers in the rail rolling stock market. I am currently recruiting for a Production Methods Engineer to create, modify and distribute engineering technical documentation.
Key Responsibilities:
-Create Bill of Materials (BOM) configured to match the customer requirements
-Responsible for the ongoing management and configuration of the BOM to ensure all Engineering change requirements are accurately captured and loaded on to the ERP system
-Control and issue of technical documentation to production teams
-Control and manage engineering queries
-Establish, record and maintain engineering change log
-Attend engineering reviews
-Compile shopfloor layouts to optimise production efficiency
Required Skills and Experience:
-Strong, proven technical background in a manufacturing environment
-Strong computer skills
-Excellent organisational skills with a methodical approach to tasks
-Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
