About the Job:

New colleagues can look forward to a warm welcome and a future full of opportunities at the Royal United Hospitals Bath NHS Foundation Trust. You will be working alongside high calibre staff, many of whom have a national and international reputation for specialist expertise and world-class care, focusing on providing the best services to our patients. The CQC recently rated the care we provide as outstanding.

The Trust provides acute treatment and care for a catchment population of around 500,000 people in Bath, and the surrounding towns and villages in North East Somerset and West Wiltshire. Our values; Everyone Matters, Working Together, Making a Difference, represent our aspiration for the type of hospitals we want to be and you can join our dedicated and talented staff to make this happen.

We are proud of our innovative approach to improving patient care and experience and we regularly receive national recognition for the quality of the care we provide. We were recently named as a centre of excellence by LUPUS UK in recognition of our approach to the management of lupus, and honoured at the Nursing Times Awards for our patient safety improvement work. The quality of our environment and our food has also been praised; awarded two Construction Excellence Awards for our IT and medical Records building, and also presented with a prestigious Soil Association catering mark for the food we serve.

The beautiful, historic City of Bath is one of the most visited cities in the UK outside of London. With excellent leisure and shopping facilities, and a thriving cultural scene, Bath is a wonderful place to live, work and play. The hospital is served by great transport links from the city centre, by Park & Ride services from the centre of town and Odd Down, and is accessible via national cycle route 24, 244 and the beautiful Two Tunnels Greenway.
