Plumbing Trade Counter Sales Assistant

Main Objectives:

To assist in the day-to-day running of a busy plumbing trade counter

Job Specification:

• Serving customers, dealing with any queries
• Assisting in stock replenishment on the shop floor
• Assisting with deliveries in and out of the store
• Dealing with any telephone queries effectively and communicating with customers and colleagues
• Other sales related duties
• Ordering goods

Person Specification:

• Knowledge of all aspects of plumbing materials and trends essential
• Excellent customer service
• Good communication skills
• Ability to work effectively as part of a busy team
• Able to work on own initiative
• Ability to work under pressure
• Good command of the English language (written and spoken)
• Excellent telephone manner
• Previous experience in a similar industry/sector is desirable
