Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer with CMMS planning experience

Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer with CMMS planning experience required urgently.

My client is seeking to employ an experienced, well-motivated, Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer, with CMMS planning experience. Working as part of a maintenance team, your main responsibilities will be to ensure equipment capability, reliability and availability to Operations, through maintenance planning and by eliminating engineering downtime through a safe and logical approach to fault finding and maintenance of equipment.

Key Responsibilities

1.Work with the Site Engineering Manager to deliver all elements within the Engineering Strategic Plan.

2.Ensure all plant is maintained to minimum legal standard and meet insurance requirements, (lifting equipment, pressure systems and LEV).

3.Carry out effective Engineering Plant Maintenance and that maximises resources, and ensure maintenance is executed to the highest of standards that delivers plant reliability.

4.Spend time on the plant to ensure engineering work is proactively planned.

5.Co-ordinate modular overhaul activities and produce agreed plans.

6.Support Site Engineering Manager to resolve day to day engineering issues across the site.

7.Participate in training and development of self and engineering team.

8.Support Continuous Improvement plan / activities.

Skills & Qualifications

Must be well-trained and a qualified Maintenance Engineer, preferably with experience in a modern manufacturing environment. A safety conscious attitude, able to work under own initiative and a flexible approach, are also essential requirements for this position

Hours – Monday to Friday 0630 - 1630 & every 2nd Saturday 0630 - 1500 

Salary is £32k per annum
