15 hours per week, 52 weeks per year to cover term times

Actual Salary in the range of £8,400 - £9,237 per annum (including London Weighting)

Uxbridge College is one of the leading providers of Further Education in West London and we were graded as ‘Outstanding’ at our last Ofsted inspection (2008).

We are seeking to appoint a Technician to work within the College’s Motor Vehicle Section. Responsibilities will include supporting the teaching teams in their delivery of the curriculum and supervising students in the workshops, ensuring that they comply with health and safety requirements and good workshop practice. You will also ensure that stock levels are maintained and ensure equipment is serviced regularly.

You will need to possess relevant experience in Motor Vehicle together with a good understanding of health and safety requirements and the ability to communicate and work effectively with young people aged 16-19.
