Over the coming months our stores will be busy with shoppers searching for that perfect gift, therefore we will need some extra help in our Merchandise teams to ensure our stores are looking their best.
Our Merchandisers show a strong attention to detail and ensure high standards of product presentation by keeping our displays immaculate and well replenished. Supporting our sales teams in ensuring all colours, sizes and styles are available; they display them in their best light, taking every opportunity to attract customers to our Designers at Debenhams.
Our Merchandise Assistants strive to deliver the best possible service at every opportunity, offering our customers more ways to shop through their awareness of our ordering services and online shopping. Our teams are enthusiastic, with a can do attitude, and enjoy working in the busy and demanding world of retail. Equally, their ability to demonstrate initiative and a flexible approach are qualities which help create the best possible shopping experience.

For some of our stores our Christmas vacancies could take effect as early as September and run through until early January and will require you to be available within the local area for this period. Our staff will be required to work some of our most important trading dates which include 3rd / 4th, 10th / 11th, 17th / 18th, 23rd / 24th and 26th Dec, Christmas Eve, Boxing Day, New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day.
Although every care is taken to ensure the correct closing dates are advertised occasionally we will close this vacancy prior to the published expiry date if we receive a high volume of applications. It is therefore advisable that you submit your application early to avoid disappointment.
