MEDICAL SALES CONSULTANT

An established Global Company seeks a Medical Sales Consultants. Successful applicants must have strong people skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to adapt and change with a fast growing company.

The Medical Sales Consultant's role is to explain to prospects what we do, who we are and to represent all aspects of our brand to our current and expanding client base. Your role will involve dealing with inquiries, performing consultations, building and managing your own growing client roster and adding value to all around you, beginning with your client. You should possess a balance of ambition, dedication to working hard, be proactive, a team player and client-dedicated.

Applicants must have prior face to face consultative/sales experience in such professional fields as pharmaceutical, medical sector.

Remuneration package start from £35K per year plus commissions.

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years experience with face to face customer interaction
  • Proven track record of success and accomplishments with previous positions
  • Excellent selling, negotiation and closing skills
  • Excellent presentation/communication skills, verbal and written
  • Ability to learn and communicate surgical procedure to potential clients
  • Able to work in a team environment but also be self-motivated
  • Ability to make an average of 50 outbound phone calls per day
  • Strong work ethic and trustworthy
  • Ability to be compassionate and sensitive to patient need

Key Responsibilities

  • The delivery of high quality advice to clients on DHI Medical Group services and products by both advising patients on the telephone and reviewing and assisting patients’ needs and treatments that DHI can offer patients in consultations and evaluations.
  • For the management of own workload ensuring that a high standard in relation to both productivity and efficiency is maintained.
  • To be aware of the overriding importance of patient customer care.
  • Maintaining sound working knowledge of DHI services and products, including the DHI Total Care System.
  • Liaising with and supporting fellow colleagues in a team like manner as the operational needs of the business dictate.
  • Ensuing the various shifts are covered by those who work the early and late and or weekend shift rotas.
  • Maintaining and producing (where necessary) proper records at all times the accurate recording of data for client consultations, client sessions and follow up evaluations onto the database system.
  • Producing daily reports for the Clinic Manager to be sent before leaving work for the day. The report should include the number of client consultations undertaken and client evaluations. It should also stipulate, the number of telephone calls made to prospective clients, how many consultations booked as well as follow ups evaluation appointments booked for clients. The reports should include ALL client names contacted, consultations and new leads.
  • Proper evaluations and follow ups need to be undertaken for each client on a daily basis and accurate records kept of these electronically and included in the TCC’s daily reports.
  • Call and talk with at least 20 clients per day from his/her personal “hot list”
  • Work with the team to meet monthly and annually targets.
