About the Job:
Brief Outline:Mechanical Supervisor - M&E Contracting - £45k - £50k - London. An M&E contractor located in West London are looking for a degree qualified Mechanical Engineer to join their existing team in a Supervisor role. This is an opportunity for somebody with a degree in mechanical engineering or building services, the candidate will be working in a senior mechanical engineer position or a supervisor role already.
About the Client:
An established M&E contractor that conducts mainly commercial design and build projects of up to £3M. This contractor has a great reputation and looking to fill this position due to new work that has been recently been won, mainly in Central London. They are looking for a degree qualified mechanical supervisor who is keen to progress in their career and make this position their own. My client is looking for an experienced Mechanical Supervisor in and around London.
About the Role:
* Assist with the running of mechanical projects from start to finish
* Assist with the overall progress of works
* Responsible for the overall quality of works
* Organising and Procurement of all necessary materials and equipment
* Management of all permanent staff and subcontractors
* Implementation of Health and safety
* Attending meetings with the client when required
* Report directly to the Project Manager
About the Candidate:
* Must have a Mechanical Engineering or Building Services degree
* Experience working as an engineer or supervisor with an M&E contractor
* Ability to work to deadlines and deliver tasks on time
* Experience in the management of staff and sub-contractors
* Apply mechanical experience to overcome challenges
* Good IT Skills
* Report directly to Project Manager
