Mechanical Project Engineer (Aerospace)
Location: Heathrow
Long Term Contract: 7-8 MONTHS
Pay: £30ph (Limited) D.O.E
Hours: Mon- Fri
Working for an international leading designer, manufacturer and supplier of specialised safety systems for the aerospace, military and aviation industries, you will be joining an 8 month project team dedicated to transferring mechanical equipment and processes from their Heathrow site to sites around the world
The engineer will be responsible for checking the documentation and equipment being transferred, therefore, testing and checking the paperwork and product in its present condition as well as anticipating their future interpretation and use after the transfer.
Key objectives of the role will be to review and amend CAD drawings, in addition to writing and checking qualification plans and associated procedures, for example, specifications, qualification test procedures, qualification test reports and design performance certificates.
The engineer will apply their mechanical expertise throughout; modifying both CADs and planning documents along with manufacturing procedures, to resolve any issues whilst complying with schedule, budget, business, performance, quality and logistic requirements.
