About the Job:

Exciting opportunity to develop your career within a sales and marketing setting!

We are looking for a bright and bubbly individual with some background and experience in marketing to join this fast paced and buzzy team. You will be ready to build on your existing marketing experience, and use your excellent all round IT skills in a varied and busy role.

You will need to be a strong team player, who naturally reaches out to help and support others, and is happy to take on any tasks required of you. You will enjoy working with a wide variety of people, both internally and externally, and will be a confident and friendly communicator at all levels.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Conduct product research and gap analysis in within FMCG markets and report finding to both Sales and New Product Development
  • Develop and oversee production of any marketing materials required to support the National Account Managers in preparing for meetings and presentations
  • Plan and manage the Expo show literature and other exhibition materials required for Wholesale National Account Managers
  • Desk based research to investigate prospect accounts for NAMs to target in-line with the sales strategy.
  • Maintain prospect database and monitor Lead Forensic reporting activity to NAMs
  • Keep up to date with industry news, competitor activity and trends and report into the News & Trends Presentations – For use in NAM prospect meetings and NPD brainstorming
  • To oversee all requirements for product awards
  • Ensure that memberships to industry bodies are maintained
  • Work with various internal CSR committees, coordinating activity and all CSR communication internally and externally (to include charity and suggestion scheme)
  • Assist the Sales Team with general administration as and when needed
  • Assist the Sales and Marketing Director with general administration, presentation material as and when needed

Successful candidates will possess the following skills and experience:

  • Experience in Marketing within a sales environment
  • Excellent IT skills – competent use of Microsoft Word and Excel and PowerPoint
  • First class verbal and written communications skills
  • Strong time-management skills with an ability to prioritise and work on several projects simultaneously
  • High initiative and passion for work
  • Excellent administration and organisational skills.
  • High attention to detail and experience working with technical data
  • Strong team player but highly self-motivated and able to work on own initiative
  • Creative, able to think outside the box
  • Positive, happy and outgoing personality with a can-do attitude
