Are you an experienced Manufacturing Engineer? Do you have a good understanding of SPC (Statistical Process Control)? Have you got experience with lean manufacturing & continuous improvements? If so, a world leader in the manufacture of aero engine components are looking to speak to you. The Manufacturing Engineer is a key position within the company as you will have the responsibility for maintaining and developing robust manufacturing processes and continually improving on these processes to keep the company at the forefront of the aerospace market.

THE CANDIDATE

Manufacturing Engineer – Aerospace Components

Essential Experience

  • Degree qualified within an engineering subject coupled with a good knowledge of manufacturing
  • Experience working within aerospace, automotive, energy or precision manufacturing.
  • Knowledge of SPC (Statistical Process Control) and Continuous Improvement / Lean Manufacturing
  • Excellent problem solving skills with the ability to find solutions using your own initiative
  • Experience with CAD and a good working knowledge of Microsoft excel for data purposes

 

Desirable Experience

  • Six Sigma Green / Black Belt

 

 

THE ROLE

Manufacturing Engineer – Aerospace Components

The Manufacturing Engineer will be responsible for the design and evaluation of new (and existing) systems and processes to create production improvement efficiencies. You will also work with other engineers to ensure all product and system requirements are taken into account throughout the production lifecycle. You will also be expected to keep on top of the latest manufacturing trends and technologies whilst striving for continued professional development.
