Our Client is a product research and development company creating industry-leading, award-winning products. Based in London, we specialise in industrial hardware and software design for the entertainment industry; encompassing lighting control, LED video processing, and motion control. Our products are used all over the world for high profile installations and events; the London Eye, the Academy Awards, the Kings of Leon world tour, and Madame Tussauds to name a few. Projects our team develops and manufactures for include: the Pharos Architectural Controls range of lighting control products, used in theme parks and architectural installations worldwide the Martin Professional P3 LED Video Wall processors the industry-leading Brompton Technology control and processing solution for video walls used in concerts, awards shows, and television We divide our time between contracting work and developing our own products in-house for distribution to a huge international client base. They also run a subscription service for control manufacturers across the lighting industry, providing up-to-date and accurate profiles for the many different lighting fixtures available on the market. This service has been in operation for over 10 years and is used by many of the leading lighting control manufacturers such as ETC, MA Lighting and Jands. The successful candidate will be responsible for the manufacturing of our range of products, involving assembly, testing and quality control. This position is ideally suited to those with considerable prior experience of electronics, assembly and manufacturing, although product-specific training will be provided. Candidates should be experienced at managing their own workload and time. The successful candidate will have individual responsibility for their work from production to despatch, working autonomously and responding flexibly to the changing needs of the business. Candidates should be similarly interested in the work involved and be able to adapt to changing priorities as we bring original and ground-breaking products to market. Key Responsibilities The successful candidate will: Be confident carrying out the assembly, production and testing of electronics to a high standard

Demonstrate a high level of manual dexterity, working with multiple components and appropriate tools, including PCB assembly and soldering techniques

Demonstrate a methodical, accurate and organised approach when manufacturing

Be able to follow design guidelines and instructions, as well as develop and maintain such documents for new products

Be confident taking responsibility for the consistent quality of products they manufacture

Demonstrate a good understanding of electronics and experience of its practical applications

Understand product test cycles and be able to balance workload and provide flexibility to meet changing priorities based on incoming orders Be able to advise on manufacturing skills and techniques and, when required, manage the workload within a team

Have a good understanding of testing lead times, and set appropriate contingency timescales for production and delivery Work closely with the Manufacturing Manager and Manufacturing Engineering team to ensure smooth supply and delivery of products to deadlines

Be able to balance multiple tasks, and demonstrate excellent time management Remain calm when working under pressure and maintain consistently high quality outputs

A minimum of three years' experience working at a senior level in an electronics, manufacturing or assembly role, working independently and without supervision Electronics qualifications including practical certifications

Experience managing one's own time effectively, prioritising conflicting tasks as appropriate Ability to work independently, taking individual responsibility for work

Be confident carrying out the assembly, production and testing of electronics to a high standard Demonstrate a high level of manual dexterity, working with multiple components and appropriate tools such as soldering irons

Demonstrate a methodical, accurate and organised approach when manufacturing Be able to follow design guidelines and instructions, as well as maintain such documents for new products

Be confident taking responsibility for the consistent quality of products they manufacture

Demonstrate a good understanding of electronics and experience of its practical applications
