About the Job:

At Devon Partnership NHS Trust we want to attract and retain talented people and create a great place to work with a shared sense of pride and ambition. Our vision is to have an inclusive society where the importance of mental health and wellbeing is universally understood and valued. Recovery is at the heart of everything we do and we are one of the pioneers in driving forward the recovery agenda.

We provide mental health and learning disability services, as well as a range of specialist and secure services for the wider south west region and nationally. We work with our partners to provide supported accommodation, vocational rehabilitation and employment opportunities, helping people learn skills, get back to work and move towards living independently.

Our Trust Values

At Devon Partnership Trust we not only recruit employees based on their qualifications and experience - we recruit individuals who possess (and are able to demonstrate) the behaviours which underpin the core values of our organisation.

These values include such attributes as showing a commitment to quality of care, improving lives of others, giving respect, dignity and compassion. We can bring those values to life in our everyday tasks by giving a smile; making time for people; challenging ourselves and others, and being open to new ideas.

Can you show us through your application and at interview how you would treat our patients with the compassion, dignity and respect they have a right to expect? Are you able to evidence behaviours that are supportive of your colleagues?

Devon Partnership NHS Trust is currently implementing a SMART Recovery programme. Over the next few years this will help us to transform many aspects of what we do. As well as providing high quality care, it will enable us to make better use of mobile technology and enable our staff to work more flexibly and efficiently.

Devon Partnership NHS Trust invites applicants for Trust Grade posts in Psychiatry that form part of the Trusts Core Training rotation. We have a variety of posts in different psychiatric specialties and across different parts of Devon – North, South Devon and Exeter.
