Our client is part of a large multi-disciplinary company providing consultancy advice within the asbestos/legionella/occupational hygiene industries and they are now actively seeking the services of a competent and committed Legionella Risk Assessor in the North West, will include applications from Greater Manchester, Merseyside and the surrounding areas.

Ideally, the individual will hold the City & Guilds or WMS certificate as well as having the right level of legionella risk assessment experience, i.e., carrying out legionella risk assessments in line with ACOP L8.

Will have good communication skills, both written and verbal.

Must be proficient in using the Microsoft Office Package.

Will be fully conversant with the Health & Safety legislation with regards to water services, etc.


The Role:

Carrying out Legionella risk assessments in line with ACOP L8 risk assessments, producing schematic drawings and final documents for clients. 

Providing recommendations and prices for remedial works, routine control measures through to quotations, and carrying out such works based on the risk assessment.

Carrying out monthly temperature testing and water sampling.

Carrying out survey of water systems and supplies as per ACOP L8. 

Producing reports and attending meetings with clients to discuss findings of reports, etc.
