A regional law firm based in the heart of Oxford are currently looking to recruit a Legal Secretary to work on behalf of the Head of Property.
The role will consist of:
Digital dictation (audio typing)
Creating/amending documents with use of track changes and Workshare
Undertaking conveyancing searches including development searches using Searchflow and Land Registry Direct
Creating and updating Excel spreadsheet reports
Creating mail merge documentation
Dealing with a range of client specific billing requirements and generating a large number of bills on a monthly basis
Dealing with clients by phone, taking messages and general calls
Filing, electronic filing, undertaking electronic property searches and general admin duties such as faxing, scanning and photocopying
Managing diary appointments and making arrangements for meetings
Applications are welcomed from candidates with:
Experience of using and downloading documents from Land Registry Direct
Excellent communication skills with a good telephone manner and client care expertise are essential
Accuracy, sound organisational skills and flexibility are also required along with previous secretarial experience in a legal environment, ideally within property or commercial property
Strong ability to self manage a large workload in a busy Team
Candidates should be experienced with Copy & Audio typing (digital dictation)
